Pre Market Outlook

Markets are expected to open on a positive note taking cues from the wave of bullishness in the global markets. Asian stocks rose, extending a rally in which global equities have wiped out their 2009 losses, as better-than-expected U.S. home sales added to signs the worst of the global recession has passed. The U.S. stocks rallied , driving the S&P 500 into positive territory for the year as investors bet banks' capital shortfalls may be manageable and housing data fueled hopes the recession is easing.
According to provisional data on NSE, foreign funds bought stocks worth a net Rs. 1417.28 crore on Monday, 04 May 2009. Domestic funds sold shares worth a net Rs.
92.6 crore yesterday.
