MF assets decline by Rs 8,000 cr in March

The mutual fund industry witnessed a fall of nearly Rs 8,000 crore in its assets in March, below the Rs 5,00,000-crore mark.
According to the data released by the Association of Mutual Funds in India, the combined average assets under the management
(AUM) of the 34 fund houses in the country at the end of March saw an erosion of Rs 7,709.10 crore, or 1.54 per cent and fell to
Rs 4,93,264.28 crore.
