Market Outlook 9 Apr

The market is likely to open on positive note taking cues from global markets.
Inflation data for week ended to be announced by noon today will be closely watched.
Asian stocks rose for the first time in three days, led by automakers and electronics
companies, on prospects for additional stimulus spending and an unexpected increase in
Japanese machinery orders. U.S. stocks snapped a two- day slide on Wednesday on
news the government is shoring up life insurers and optimism about consumer spending
after Bed Bath & Beyond Inc reported a better-than-expected profit. Indian ADRs ended
with significant gains.
According to provisional data on NSE, foreign funds bought stocks worth a net Rs.
573.33 crore on Wednesday, 08 March 2009. Domestic funds sold shares worth a
net Rs. 378.22 crore on that day
